Attention Residents:
Palestine Road, Sandy Lane, Grigg Road, Horseshoe Drive, Tramel Road, Young Road, and Simmons Road work will begin today (11/18/19) and continue throughout the week to replace culverts on these roads. Please make arrangements to use alternate routes. Thank you

The Allen Parish Police Jury is responsible for the maintenance of an eminence 600 miles of roadway network, that includes primarily rural/residential roadways. This roadway network contains over 100 bridges and hundreds of culverts needed to cross the Parish's many beautiful creeks, streams, and rivers.

The primary objective of the Public Works Department is to maintain the infrastructure of Allen Parish in a cost-effective and timely manner.

The Department does its best to monitor condition of its infrastructure at all times. Should the public observe areas needing attention, we encourage the public to contact the Parish Roadway Superintendent at 337-639-4328 to report the problem area. Requests for repairs by the public are processed as Work Orders in the Police Jury Office and are corrected as early as possible.
